Help the Asadi Family
This effort is being linked financially to the Justness Project non-profit.
Every dollar raised will go directly towards the effort to assimilate the Asadi family to American life. Naiem Asadi has professional aspirations to become a civilian helicopter pilot; and Rahima and Zainab are taking English classes to prepare them for continuing education this fall.
The continuing need is for living essentials for the family and professional expenses related to Maj Asadi’s credentialing as an American civilian pilot.
After over a year of effort, the Asadis are finally safe from the infamous taliban and Maj Asadi is able to give his wife and five year old daughter a wonderful future free of violence and discrimination.
The Asadi family’s case has received worldwide attention since last year. See the PBS New Hour report.
12 veterans, who know Asadi personally, are supporting him in the U.S. We want to express our sincerest thanks to the many people across the United States who stood up to ensure the right thing was done - and to save the family from being killed by the taliban. This was a human effort, driven by real people who never gave up and never stopped fighting to save the Asadis!
