Help the Avery Family Rebuild After Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Dominic Bartolone I am from Thousand Oaks, CA and I am raising funds for my good friends and co-worker, Todd and Terry Avery.
Imagine being told you have just 10 minutes to gather your belongings as the Eaton Fire in Altadena races down the mountain at 90 MPH. Now imagine returning the next day to find your lifelong home reduced to ashes—your memories, belongings, and work equipment gone in an instant.
This is the devastating reality Todd, Terry, and their son, Grayson, are facing. Grayson has lost his childhood home, and the Averys have lost all their wedding photos and family memories. Nothing remains but a brick fireplace.
Most of you know Todd as a freelance camera technician. The past few years in the film industry have been incredibly challenging: the COVID pandemic and quarantine in 2020 caused an eight-month work stoppage, followed by another work stoppage the Writers’ and Actors’ strikes in 2023, and a significant slowdown in production throughout 2024. Now, just as 2025 begins, they’ve lost everything to the Eaton Fire.
Many of you have reached out, asking how you can help. A monetary donation would make a tremendous difference in alleviating the stress they’re under as they navigate this difficult time and begin to rebuild their lives. This money will be used to pay for all their needs while they determine what the next step in their journey is.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support. Together, we can help the Avery family recover and rebuild.
