Help the Barbosa family in this heartbreaking time

Hi there,

My names Danyelle. I'm here starting this fundraiser for the Barbosa family. Anne has been my best friend since high school. She is caring, selfless, and is such a bubbly happy person. I have gone through the bad and good times with her. When she reconnected with her husband Matt I was so excited to watch their relationship grow. Them get engaged. And welcome their first born Dorothy Anne into the world. I watched them get married, and gave a very teary eyed speech.

This year Anne became pregnant again and they've been so excited to add to their little family! Anne had some complications with her last pregnancy but with this one she knew what to look for and what to do to make it as smooth as possible while the little one grows.

On March 13th however, they got a phone call that would change everything. They were told there was something wrong with baby, and they needed to come to Toronto ASAP. The next day they flew out to Mount Sinai Hospital where they got the news that baby had Hydrops and her body was up to 80% swollen, and they found out they were having a girl. They spent the next couple days getting tests to see the severity of everything.

On March 21st, they were informed Penelope's lung had collapsed and her body was now at 100% swollen.

Anne and Matt made the difficult choice that they will deliver Penelope, and have her first and last breath with them.

Dorothy has been staying in Thunder Bay with family during this time and family and friends have been working together to make sure she is good.

But I want to help Anne and Matt. As you can imagine being away from home is hard enough. They have had Annes family come up to give them company, and have been able to get out and about while they wait for her induction time. But I want to help ease some of that financial burden for them. If everyone could donate just a little money to help them with bills, funeral expenses, loss of income while being in Toronto it would be greatly appreciated.

Anne, Matt.. I love you guys a bunch, and I know it won't help the heartache but I am hoping it alleviates a bit of the stress.
