Bedford Road House Fire

Hi Friends and Neighbors,

As many of you know, there was a devastating house fire at 325 Bedford Road in Chappaqua Monday night. By morning, all that was left was a pile of rubble. 

Much thanks to the Fire Deparment and first responders for their hard work doing their best to put the fire out and preventing it from spreading further. 

Luckily, the family woke up and escaped with their dogs.  (The cats are unfortunately still unaccounted for…)   But this family that has been in Chappaqua for many years have now lost everything.  

Please consider helping them get thorough this difficult time. 

For their privacy I was previously not explicitly naming the family- but apparently that’s not permitted by go-fund-me.  As such, I am disclosing that the niece of the family impacted, Alicia Mayers Spillman, had been asked by her family to be the point person and she will be withdrawing the funds and distributing them to the family members who lost their home to the fire.
