Help the Beirne Family Through a Tough Journey

Greetings. My name is Adam and I am here on behalf of our hockey team, The Chiefs. The man in the middle of this picture is Chris Beirne, a fellow hockey brother for over a decade. He is a brother to us, but more importantly, he is a loving husband to a wife who is fighting leukemia. The Beirnes have two young children, 5 and 7. I will update this page later with details about the family and more backstory.

Bottom line, this is the text the team received:

"Some of you know what's going on, but for those who don't, my wife developed leukemia just before Thanksgiving and I've been mostly absent from hockey since, dealing with work, kids, and hectic treatment schedules in and out of NYC.

She'll be admitted tomorrow (March 1, 2025) for in-patient treatment prior to a bone marrow transplant in early April. Including recovery time after, I expect she'll be hospitalized for 3-4 months. I'm optimistic we'll come out the other end cured, but since I'll be solo parenting our 5 and 7-year-olds, I'll unfortunately miss the spring (and possibly summer) season as a result."

Suffice it to say, Chris needs all of the support, emotionally and physically, possible. He is blessed with a loving and supportive family and group of friends. We are starting the GoFundMe campaign to ease the financial burden. Please help us and the Beirne family in their fight against leukemia. Any size donation is significant and meaningful.
