Help the Blue Family Overcome Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Timothy Blue, and I've lived in Houston, Texas, for over 19 years. I've worked as an Operations Manager in the medical and MCO industry for the past 20 years, and I've been married to my beautiful wife, Celeste, for 20 years. We have 3 boys and 1 girl. We try our very best to raise our children to be God-fearing and to always put Him first.
I was diagnosed with colon cancer in September 2021. My oncologist decided to go the surgical route instead of chemotherapy because I was at stage 2. I had a lower anterior resection performed, which successfully removed the cancer. My cancer was in remission until the end of 2024.
A few months ago, I went to see my primary care provider about some pain I was having in my left leg. My PCP told me that my pain was probably just joint pain from some sort of injury. I went to physical therapy at the request of my PCP, but it had no effect on me. I requested an MRI from my PCP, which she put orders in for; however, my insurance company kept denying the request, stating I had to complete 6 months of physical therapy first. I got frustrated and thought the pain would just go away on its own, but it continued to get worse. I decided to go to the ER on New Year's Eve. An MRI was performed in the ER, and a tumor was found on my pelvic bone. The tumor had eaten away some of my pelvic bone. I was then referred to an oncologist by my PCP. At that time, I was told that I have stage 4 colorectal cancer in my pelvic bone and in one of my lungs. This is the hardest thing me and my family have ever had to face.
I started chemotherapy the week of 2/10/2025, so this is just the beginning of a long and arduous journey. As all of you already know, medical bills can be very expensive—especially for cancer treatment. Couple this with rising costs at the grocery store, and you can begin to see the huge financial toll cancer treatment can have on a family. Please help support me and my family during this difficult time. Whatever you are able to donate would be greatly appreciated. These donations will help us get through this difficult time. Thank you for any donation you are able to give, and we really appreciate your support.
