Help the Burgett Family

Hi my name is Jamie and I am a neighbor of the Burgett family.

As many people know, Josh lost his fight against Covid after spending over two weeks in Ruby Memorial Hospital and passed away November 5th 2021.

I am starting this fundraiser to help the family during this very stressful time. The money raised here will help Melissa pay for rent, medical bills, and basic needs for the family.

Josh was the sole provider for his family of 6. Now with his loss, it puts the family in a precarious place of not only having lost a loving husband and father, but potentially losing the place they call home, right before the holidays. It is hard enough to face such things when you are an adult, but when you are a child, it is unfathomable.

My only wish is for this family to not have to worry about finances for a month or two while they try to find a new normal.

If you can find it in your heart to help this family in their darkest hours, it would be greatly appreciated.

* In regards to a post circulating Facebook, I did not mean to offend anyone by including Josh's oldest son in the family household number. I included him out of respect for his position in the family and did not want to exclude him or his importance in Josh's life. I, in no way, meant to imply Josh was the sole provider for his oldest son. I am truly sorry for any hurt this may have caused.
