Help the Cahill Family Keep their Home

On November 14, 2022, our adored father and husband, Jim Cahill, suffered a massive stroke. He was rushed to UMass Medical Center, where we discovered that unbeknownst to us as well as him, Dad had been suffering from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Dad's battle was quick and sudden, but he fought with everything he had. Within 13 days, less than two weeks, we lost our protector, provider, and best friend.

Nothing could have prepared us for this loss. We are heartbroken and devastated. The sudden nature of this tragedy has left us scared and confused about what comes next. What we know is we want to stay in the family home that we've made since 2004.

With the loss of Dad's income as well as the expenses incurred from Dad's treatment, our family is in danger of losing the home we have shared and made memories in for years. We need help to get our family back on our feet while we navigate life without the best father and husband we could have ever had.

If you knew Dad, you knew he was a talented musician who loved playing guitar and singing.

Nothing made Dad happier than to be with “his girls”- my mom (his wife of 27 years), and me, Shannon, and my sister, Danielle.

Dad was the life of the party and a friend to all. He was a fantastic cook and loved the weekends when our whole family would get together in our home and share good food, many laughs, and great football.
