Help the Carrasco Family in Their Time of Grief

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Golden Beach Police Corporal Edsel Carrasco’s son – Daniel Carrasco. Daniel was a beloved son and brother to his father, mother Lucy, and brother Dominic. Daniel tragically took his own life in the early hours of September 18th, 2024.

Corporal Carrasco has been an officer with the Golden Beach Police Department for over 20 years, dedicating countless hours to keeping our streets safe. You may even recognize Daniel, as he too worked for the Town as a beach attendant for several years. Daniel was a friendly face who helped whenever he could.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family for this devastating loss and offer our greatest sympathies. In an effort to provide assistance to the family during this difficult time, the Town has created a GoFundMe account to aid with the monetary impacts of the tragedy.
