Hi everyone, my name is Andrea Chavez from Ruidoso, New Mexico. My family and I lost our home to the south fork fire in ruidoso New Mexico. The people who lived in the house were my mom: Claudia Casale, my grandma: Carmen, my 5 year old son: Lucca, and me Andrea. In a matter of hours everything me and my mother ever worked for was gone.
The house was my mom’s biggest achievement, as a single mother who immigrated to the United States to give me and my brother a better life.
