Help the casualties in Antakya Turkey

A dear friend of mine Selcuk who I have known for over 25 years comes from Antakya, one of the worst-hit cities of all. Selcuk tells me that the majority of his city has been flattened and he has lost many of his family and friends.

Thankfully one of his aunts was rescued from under one of the buildings after 52 hours.

Those that have survived are now living on the streets with little food, no warmth and the contemplation of being homeless for years to come.

Some may not agree with raising funds for a specific city instead of an official charity page, however this way all of the monies will be sent without delay and directly to those in need.

The funds raised will not sit waiting whilst a charity follows its process and they will also receive all of the funds instead of a large percentage being retained by the charity for their costs.

Everything raised will be used immediately, to help my brothers and sisters survive in the weeks and months ahead and also to hopefully provide a degree of shelter for them too.
