Help Contribute to the Cervantes-Linares Family
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rosie Quezada, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my story. I am writing on behalf of my friend, Michele Linares and her family. Michele’s family was blindsided by her sudden and unexpected death on September 1, 2023. She appeared happy and healthy yet passed away suddenly. None of us is promised tomorrow. Michele’s unexpected passing leaves a huge gap in the hearts of her husband, children, friends, and family.
All money donated will be given directly to her family to help cover funeral expenses at this difficult time.
Any amount that you are willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated, and if you aren’t able to contribute money at this time, take a moment to share this link with your friends and family. Michele's husband has given permission for us to post this on social media.
So, who was Michele Linares?
Michele was a one-of-a-kind Latina!
She was a force to be reckoned with, who always worked to help improve the lives of others.
Michele was a loving mother, wife, friend, and leader and will be terribly missed by all.
Her incredible work ethic spurred her to new heights, and she became a strong advocate for her community, for the less fortunate, and for her profession. Her drive took her to the level of the California State Legislature. Her presence and energy were powerful and rippled to those around her. Her laughter and warmth were contagious, and she always left those around her with the feeling that they had been in the presence of someone who really loved and cared about their individual needs. She exuded warmth, love, and her own kind of sparkle.
Michele made each of us feel special.
As a professional speech and language pathologist, Michele joined the California Speech Hearing Association (CSHA) in 2017, and went on to become an active member, and served her district and community as a leader advocating for her profession. She worked at White Memorial and opened up her own practice called The Learning Grove, which is committed to providing people with communication difficulties with the opportunity to fully participate in society.
On a personal level, she was a loving mother and wife. She was always proud of her family—her husband, Frank, her daughter Isabella, and her son, Julien.
Michele knew how to deal with adversity and challenges. She faced them head on!
Rain or shine, Michele smiled and exuded love, gratitude, laughter, and a heart full of love for her family, friends, and the clients she served. She appreciated many of the moments that people often take for granted.
She loved spending time with family, with her children, dinners and date nights with her loving husband, Frank, impromptu trips with her family and making memories with them, celebrating her son's awards, spending quiet days with her daughter. She was grateful for the little things… for hot Cheetos, for lazy Saturdays at home, for her parents, for her education and even doggie kisses from her little Maltese!
Michele was larger than life in her personality, her warmth, and the depth of her heart.
We will greatly miss you, my friend.
