Hello, I'm Tanvi Bhandary, and I'm reaching out to you today to ask for your support for my partner, Kris Chellani, and his parents, Dhruva and Nina Chellani.
With the permission of Kris’ siblings, Krystal and Shera Chellani, I am starting a go fund me for the Chellani Family. We come to you today with heavy hearts and a deep sense of loss, as we share the devastating news of a tragic accident that has taken lives of Kris Chellani, and his dad, Dhruva Chellani. In an instant, their world shattered, leaving behind family and friends grappling with unimaginable grief.
On Wednesday, September 6th, Kris, his mom, Nina and his dad, Dhruva were driving home from attending a community event. They were struck head on by a high-speed driver who swerved into their lane, tragically killing Kris and his dad. Nina was transported to a nearby hospital to receive surgery and is now in stable condition.
The sudden and unexpected loss of Kris and his father has left their family not only emotionally devasted but also facing the overwhelming burden of funeral expenses, outstanding bills, and the uncertain road ahead. As a community, we have the power to come together and provide much-needed support during this incredibly difficult time.
We are humbly reaching out to you, our friends, neighbors to ask for you help. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go towards easing the financial stress on the Chellani family and ensuring that they have the support they need as they navigate this unimaginable journey of loss and healing.
Kris was on a journey to take over his dad’s family business, Classic Carolina that has been in the family since 1993. Kris had planned a grand re-opening of the store that was supposed to be held on Saturday, September 9th. Kris and his dad worked extremely hard to renovate the entire store and give it a complete makeover. They had many exciting plans set for the success of Classic, and it’s very devastating to have had to cancel the grand re-opening and keep the store closed indefinitely.
