Help Support the Cherico family during their medical crisis

Our dear cousin Sean, and his wife Sabrina Drake Cherico, are facing a series of unprecedented medical and financial challenges that require our community's support. Sean, a 3rd generation electrician, is a member of the IBEW local 351 electricians union.

The Urgent Need

We are raising money to help the Cherico family during their critical time of need.

Sean's Health Journey

Sean, a union electrician and primary family provider, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma (an aggressive form of brain cancer). Recently, he underwent surgery to remove as much as the tumor as possible and is currently recovering from that extensive medical procedure. At this time, he is preparing for intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments to continue the battle against this terrible disease. Currently unable to work, Sean requires comprehensive medical support. As the primary financial provider to his family, Sean's diagnosis is both emotionally and financially devastating.

Nathan's Ongoing Care

Sean and Sabrina share a fifteen-year old son Nathan. Since birth, Nathan has struggled with complex medical issues, including autism, cerebral palsy, and PANDAS. He requires daily professional nursing, 1:1 behavioral assistance, and several specialized therapies. Nathan is non-verbal, requires the use of a feeding tube for nutrition, and is not toilet trained. Nathan is never able to be left unsupervised, and both Sean and Sabrina dedicate all of their personal time to his care. As Nathan is often hospitalized due to his long-term medical issues, Sabrina dedicates her life to Nathan's care, making her unable to work outside the home.
