Help the children in the Mityana Village in Uganda

"My name is Lubowa Pius and iam an orphan who choose the life of taking care of fellow orphans on the streets since they are like family to me plus helping the needy people in my society under our Community Based Organisation called Raising Children Foundation (RCF) where we take care over 22 kids ranging from 3- 15 years.

Sometimes I feel like questioning God since no one deserves to be in such a situation where life is all about living by chances and many people might judge or doubt me but it's the bitter truth since here in Africa many people sleep hungry and many sleep without knowing what to eat tomorrow.

Sometimes rats live a better life than us since it can even take 2-3 days without eating a proper meal but only surving on picked fruits which is not healthy.

We honestly seek for your support on order to afford proper and better meals since many kids have faced of ulcers due to delay or failure to get what to eat.

We also want to afford rent for a good accommodation since many kids are sleeping outside on streets and with experience I know what it means, due to many problems associated with it such as rape, defilement, torture and unwanted pregnancies especially to the girl child.

In addition the kids also deserve better medication and education just like other kids and education is the best gift you can give to an African child since it's the only key to his/her future.

I personally I cannot afford all this since I don't work with any big organisation or government and I do sell cooked eggs, carry people's luggages on market days plus digging in people's gardens to earn a living and it's not even enough to provide for any of the needs.

Hello brothers, it has come the time for the kids from the village of Mytiana in Uganda, district of Buikweto receive our helping hand!

They need food and supplies for the school year. As human beings generosity is a trait we gain by cultivating it, as we are here in this world together and some of us have more monetary compacity than others, it would be fair and our common responsibility to help those in need with what we can, when we can. These children deeply need and appreciate the opportunity to receive the help that can be fundamental in their growth and the making of a better tomorrow for them as we know the value that basic needs and education hold.

These kids range from the age of 4 to 15. So they need our help for they are in crucial development stages of their lives. I am in contact with their provider, “Pius Lubowa” a man who took on the responsibility to care for these children of the Mityana village and give them the best possible. He helps with raising money and means for food, love, and care and teaches them about God and his Word, Jesus through bible studies. Pius reaches out to me to tell me news about the children and it has been complicated for the most part for them. Going from times of starvation even.

My name is Erica Calengue, I’m from Angola and currently live in Portugal. i'm connected with Pius through social media and have been present to help out with the gofundme account management. It hasn’t been easy for him as we all can imagine, looking out for kids with sometimes no means to provide is a mission fit for a true warrior of Christ. So I'm helping him through some of the difficulties as I can. As for now, I am unable to help monetarily, so I'm applying the principle that “all help helps “ so I was guided by the Lord to help through this fundraiser, so if you can share the word in your social media, share with the people around you, donate, mail them supplies, they would all be joyful for the blessing.

I plead for your good sense in this matter and for your help. In shipping supplies such food, books, pens and pencils, bags, clothes, anything related to schools supplies and food, colouring books, colouring pencils, paints, things that you might not need anymore and even donating of FUNDS to the cause for their are school fees to be paid and in some cases leases. Pius has to go to the town next to theirs to buy the supplies for they are not available in the village. ALL HELP IS NEEDED AND NECESSARY. From 1 dollar to the amount, you can provide. They are truly open and in need to receive.
