Samuel Justin Colin Chisholm -- Legacy Fund

Donation protected
Samuel was our much loved and mighty warrior. On Oct. 8, 2024 he died following over 18 months of fighting cancer.

In the past number of years Sam dreamed of going to school and becoming an accountant. He had great intent in mind with this training – that the funds he would be responsible for could be used for great purpose. He would be thrilled that funds raised in his memory would be used for those purposes.

Sam was courageous in adversity.
Sam had a strong sense of justice.
Sam had a heart of compassion.

Sam had a heart for God/ Jesus,
his friends,
for the poor and the hurting.

The intent of this legacy fund is to provide ongoing funding for decades to come. Funds grown from this endowment will be used to support causes and organizations that were important to Sam and his family throughout his life and battle with cancer. Examples include:
BC Children’s Hospital – with specific giving to their Child Life program
The Ronald McDonald House – which was the family’s home away from home
Cedars Christian School Students (e.g. scholarship) and the Grade 11’s YWAM Urban Plunge
Ness Lake Bible Camp
Compassion International
Please consider giving so that Sam’s desire to give can be put into action for years to come.
