Local Pastor Needs Your Help

Hi there and a Big Texas Howdy! How open minded are you to supporting a historically overlooked community? We are A New Day Fellowship Church. It is our passion to be the catalyst in our community by building modern, affordable homes on our land. We have noticed over the years that the east side of our city, Temple, where our church and children's learning academy are located, that there hasn't been much revitalization to improve this side of town. Just imagine if your community was riddled with deserted homes, juvenile crime, and low home ownership. We believe that if we know there's a problem, we must be the solution. When we were blessed with this land, we knew God would provide us with a purpose to heal. Not only our community, but to heal for miles stretching North, South, East and West. It hurts our hearts seeing our youth grow up in an atmosphere of apathy. This starts from little things like what we see out of the window everyday riding home from school. How did you feel the first time you saw a mansion, an exotic car, or a real diamond for the first time? It delivered a sense of emotion that you want to make the right choices to live a life of purpose and wonder. No one knows the impact it has on the subconscious mind when looking at green manicured lawns, vibrant colored flowers, well constructed exterior materials on your neighborhood homes, or even smooth roads to ride your bike. Studies show a creative mind flourishes being in a positive, thriving environment . These homes are just the first foot print of creating a pathway to hope and change in an impoverished mindset.

With your help, we will have the ability to work with the city to improve conditions that have been overlooked for decades. We will be able to add sidewalks, street lights, a community garden, and other improvements that allow our community to enjoy a better quality of life. I'm sure you're thinking, how is $200,000 gonna help build 50 houses? Well, the truth is God works in mysterious ways. With an approval of funds to build this new community, we still need your help to fund the pre-construction .  Your involvement with this project is life changing, not just us but our future! With your support, years from today you will see the change you helped orchestrate in the next generation of leaders. This project will send a wave of positive energy and change through our streets and neighborhoods. The way we see it, you have three options:  1- you can choose to ignore the problem and hope that someone else will eventually do something, 2- we can petition and go back and forth for years with our city officials on implementing new infrastructure, or, 3- you can take action and be the change by donating today.
