Help Cinebar Rise from the Ashes

Update:

Like a Phoenix - No Matter How Many Times We Burst Into Flames, We Can Always Rise From The Ashes

Cinebar has not been able to catch a break from Covid to the fire that has caused so much damage to the building.

CINEBAR needs your help now more than ever so we are switching gears into HYPERDRIVE. Their plan is to rebuild but they can't do it without our help.

The owners at Cinebar were trying so hard to figure out a way to be able to reopen the business once the restrictions allowed them to open back up. Now, they are trying to find a way to rebuild the bar back to be able to reopen, again.

Please give what you can to get Cinebar to their goal. We have to help them because this place can NOT go away. It is an Institution!!!

Cinebar, We got you! We will make sure to see you through this.

The Cinebar is in need of some support and we want to do just that!

As everyone already knows and has felt the punch that 2020 has brought to all of us and everyone we know, the Cinebar is feeling it, too, and pretty heavy!!

Because of the shut downs, Cinebar has not been able to open since March 16th. They have not been able to serve to-go beverages because of the guidelines of Santa Clara County, The State of California and the type of ABC license they hold. Let’s face it, even with the strict rules that have been given, it just wouldn't work for them anyway.

The folks at the Cinebar have tried to manage this burden on their own and without any help from the community but this mandatory shut down has gone on for too long for them to continue with the way things currently are. However, they are not ready to throw in the towel and give up just yet. They got mouths to feed and many more patrons to serve. They know that once they are allowed to open back up that they will be just fine and they can't wait for that to happen!

This is where WE, the community, comes in!

If you are willing and able to give to keep this establishment, that has been there since 1929, which will allow them to keep up their fight, please reach in your pockets and donate. Anything will help!

If you can not give, which is totally understandable, help spread the word to everyone you can and share this to link to get more eyes on this campaign. Tell your grandmas and grandpas who might have very well come here after their graduation from SJSU. Tell your family, friends, neighbors, and send messages with carrier pigeons if possible. The more aware, the more help they may receive.

We are setting the BAR high because they have no idea how long this will last and with the debt that is racking up we are trying to get them as much as they can get to ensure their doors will remain open and your kid's kids will be able to come in here for their first drink in a bar.

We all love the Cinebar and want to see this little gem continue to serve Corona and not be out of business because of it! Spread the word.

Check their Instagram @Cinebarsj and Facebook page for updates, links, and photos.

Thank you, in advance, from the bottom of everyone’s heart and for the sake of Downtown San Jose, for your help.
