Help the Cohee family with expenses after wreck
Donation protected
On March 8, 2023, my dear friend of over thirty years and 1995 BJU grad, Rachel Menillo Cohee, nearly lost her life in a serious car accident. She suffered numerous injuries, including a concussion, 15 head staples, a dislocated ankle, a broken sacrum, severe seatbelt burns, deep hematomas down both sides/hips, and a hernia which will require surgery. Her 14-yo daughter suffered a broken collarbone, severe seatbelt burns, deep hematomas down her sides/hips, head staples, and multiple broken teeth.
Thankfully, her daughter was able to return to school by the next week. But Rachel is unable to work and has had to have home health services and started physical therapy, which has been a grueling process. Although she has a wonderful church family and friends, I'd like to cast the net wider to help meet the family's medical bill deductible and to make a down payment on replacing their vehicle that was totaled. I know this will lift the burden on both Rachel's husband and on Rachel as they try to keep their two girls involved in their normal school activities while Rachel is unable to work and the family is adjusting to this sudden change.
Anything you can give will encourage this Christian family. Thank you.
