Help the Cortes Family After Eaton Fire

My name is Abigail Cortes and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my aunt and uncle, Martina and Inocencio Cortes. Last night (Wednesday, January 8), their family home in Altadena burned to the ground along with all of their belongings in the Eaton fires. My aunt and uncle have worked tirelessly to support their three children (Alberto, Gladys, and Fernando), uplift their community, and build a life for themselves. I am heartbroken and devastated to share that after a lifetime of hard work, all they have left is a pile of ashes.

My aunt, uncle, and cousins are in desperate and urgent need of support from the community to get back on their feet after this deeply traumatic and life shattering experience. We are incredibly thankful in advance to all who contribute to their recovery.

They have always been the type to give the clothes off their backs to those in need without a second thought. Now, we are calling on the community to support them through this devastating time.
