Help the Czerneks adopt a baby with Down syndrome

Hi!! We are so excited you are here! We are the Czernek’s and we are in the process of adopting a baby with Down syndrome!

 

We are honored to share our family’s story with you and would love to have you stand behind our family in this next season. Tomas and I have had a heart for adoption since we were dating fifteen years ago. So when starting a family, we really felt like adopting from foster care was the calling for us. We went through the process and were quickly matched with Mia who was 18 months old at the time! While in process of being matched with her we were told her mom was pregnant. So Mia moved in with us a Kai was born a short 3 weeks later! They quickly became the greatest joys of our life and we were able to finalize their adoptions within a year.

 

Right before Kai was turning one we decided to try for one more child, and we quickly got pregnant with Aria! At 20 weeks pregnant I found out she had Down syndrome and a heart condition that would require surgery soon after she was born. We took some time to process her diagnosis and then got really excited to meet her.

 

Aria was born and so was our love for Down syndrome. We quickly realized how lucky we were and felt so grateful God gave us this beautiful gift. As time has gone by our whole family has fallen in love with individuals with Down syndrome. So when expanding our family adopting a baby with Down syndrome seemed like the perfect fit.

 

We are so grateful to be on this journey and that God has brought us here. We would love for you to pray for us and our new sweet baby to be as we continue through the adoption process and wait to be matched. If you feel led to donate towards the adoption we would be beyond thankful!

 

We could not be more excited to see what God has in store for our family. Thank you for partnering and supporting us in this new venture! We are currently considered a waiting family with the Down Syndrom Adoptive Network. Our home study is completed and we are waiting to be matched. Once a birth family chooses us, we will quickly move forward with the adoption process.

 

We hope that adopting this sweet child with Down syndrome will create awareness and be a catalyst for others to do the same. We plan to raise funds not just for ourselves but other individuals with a similar passion to grow their families in this way.
