My peers and I cover the Mid-American Conference (MAC) women's and men's basketball tournament in Cleveland yearly. This year, the travel fund does not have enough money to support the staff for food. While they are covering hotel and gas costs, there is no money for food.

The sports section produces more than 12 articles over five days. Articles written range from columns, postcards, gamers, and features. Our staff photographers take photos of games, events, and the activities we do in Cleveland. Although the week is jam-packed, we student journalists find this trip a glimpse into the future. It is a week full of hard work and learning how to report and create content on our own.

It is difficult for college students to afford to pay for their meals during this trip, which causes undue stress for the journalist providing free coverage. Please consider donating. Every donation will be split to support the full staff of seven students going on the trip.
