Help the Daugherty Sisters Head to Nationals!

Hi everyone, our names are Alison and Bethany Daugherty, daughters of Sarah and Justin(Cowboy) Daugherty. We are fundraising in hopes to achieve a lifelong goal of ours which is competing at the USATF Junior Olympic meet at the national level. Here we will possibly be competing in the long and/or triple jump. Not only is it about the incredible opportunity but the chance to compete at America's finest track and field facilities, Hayward Field. Hayward Field is home to the University of Oregon Ducks and has hosted the US Olympic Trials more than once. This facility is strictly dedicated to this sport as there are no other sporting events hosted there. We have already completed the first step in our journey when we competed at the USATF Junior Olympic State meet. Alison placed 1st in the long jump and 3rd in the triple jump while Bethany placed 6th in long jump and 1st in triple. This qualified us to compete in the regional meet at the University of Wisconsin - Lacrosse against athletes from the states of Iowa, Illinois, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, and Minnesota. The top five finishers in each event will compete at the National USATF Junior Olympic Championship meet. We are optimistic that we will land in the top five in at least one event. If we do not place top five in our events we will be donating the money raised to the Special Olympics organization. This donation will support sport training and competitions, inclusive health, and unified schools. Please consider helping us achieve this goal of ours; it would mean a lot!
