Help the David Family Rebuild After Fire

On the night of June 2nd, a malfunctioning appliance started a fire in my brother Robert’s kitchen. His wife Elisa and their two children were home at the time. They managed to get out safely, along with the family pets. Unfortunately, the fire spread from the kitchen up into the roof. Between smoke and water damage, their home and belongings are a complete loss.

This has been absolutely devastating. This was Robert’s childhood home, which he purchased from our parents when they decided they wanted to travel in retirement. Tragically, our father was diagnosed with terminal cancer shortly afterward, and passed away this past January.

At this time the family is living out of a hotel, faced with replacing all of their daily necessities from clothing to toiletries to household items in addition to finding a better long-term living arrangement while they sort out the cleanup and replacement of their home. These unexpected expenses have been extremely stressful and placed undue strain on their resources.

Donations will be used to replace necessities, feed the family, and secure a more appropriate place to live while they work with insurance to replace their home. Any amount helps!
