Help the De Anda family after devastating fire.
Donation protected
The night of 3/11/22, Mark, Sonia and the kids were eating dinner and enjoying a cold Friday night at home when their house caught on fire. They had no time to react or grab anything, but ran out safely. They stood watching as their house burned for hours. While we are so grateful every is safe and well, they now must navigate rebuilding their lives. The damage to their house is yet to be determined, but a fireman told them they used 125 gallons per minute and the damage would be extensive if not a complete total loss. My niece said she didn’t know what to grab, she just ran. For a child, this is HUGE. To have nothing but the clothes on your back and no future about what to expect from this point forward. They are still in shock and disbelief.
Anyone that has encountered Mark, Sonia and the kids know how big their hearts are. They are always willing to drop everything and help where they can. They have always opened their home to anyone for a place to stay or a nice dinner. Mark and Sonia are a beacon to the San Antonio community. They are constantly looking for ways to give back. Whether it’s helping the inner city, volunteering at the food bank, or with their clinic Optimum Physio. They work countless hours to treat and help patients in the San Antonio and surrounding communities.
Now it’s our time to be there for them during this devastating loss. To lose everything and start over from scratch is going to take time and heartache. While no monetary donation wont help recover things that cannot be replaced, I would like to help raise money to cover things they will need upfront.
Please send your continued prayers and peace over them during this challenging time.
