Help the DeCollibus Girls

Donation protected
In the early hours of January 16th, our family lost Joseph DeCollibus -- or as I’ve known him, Uncle Joey. He was a devoted father and husband, brother, uncle, and friend. The epitome of the family man, Uncle Joey loved and protected his loved ones with every ounce of his being. He had an infectious joie de vivre that brought out the best in people. The world doesn’t shine as bright without him, but his spirit lives on in all of us.

Joey left behind his beautiful wife Patty and daughter Marie, as well as their beloved pup Taser Magee. His world revolved around his girls, who he loved so fiercely. His passing has turned their lives upside down and inside out -- they depended on him emotionally, medically, and financially.

Joey cared for his ailing wife, who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS is a brutal chronic disease that requires costly treatments, which only continue to get more expensive. Without Joey’s income, the girls will struggle to make ends meet.

Marie is a senior at High Point Regional High School, where she is an excellent student and athlete. She is as tough and thoughtful as her father, and nearly as funny. Marie looks forward to attending college in the fall but now faces an onslaught of unforeseen challenges. This transition will be difficult for her emotionally and financially.

Uncle Joey extended himself to everyone and anyone. He’d give you the shirt off his back without hesitation and went to tremendous lengths for those in need. Joey’s giving spirit impacted all who met him. We ask that you honor Uncle Joey’s memory by making a donation to his girls. Anything helps during these difficult times. Please continue to keep my family in your prayers. We sincerely thank you. Any concerns regarding the girls, Patty's sister and Marie's aunt Maureen Fitzpatrick, will be in contact.
