Help The DeHaven Family with Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Erik and Alex DeHaven, both who have devoted their careers to helping children, encountered many struggles over the years in blessing their own family with a child. Alex's pregnancy was a miracle and a joyous answer to their prayers. The ecstatic parents welcomed baby Wren, a beautiful baby girl, into the world on January 27th. Baby Wren arrived over 2 months premature, requiring ICU care for both Mom and baby. Coach DeHaven's football family is reaching out to the community to help this wonderful family with rising medical costs so they can focus on bringing Wren home.

Alex's water broke at 29 weeks and was admitted to the ICU in an effort to safely continue the pregnancy as long as possible. Baby Wren was born a little over a week later weighing 4 pounds. Over two months premature, baby Wren is expected to spend 9 weeks in neonatal intensive care with Mom and Dad by her side.

Both parents have devoted their lives to teaching, inspiring, and mentoring children. Erik is the head football coach at The John Cooper School, and Alex is a middle school teacher in Willis, Tx.  In addition to their medical expenses to cover the ICU care of both Mom and baby, Alex will now be out of work for months as she cares for baby Wren. Coach DeHaven and Alex have devoted their lives to the education and success of our children - they need our help now!
