Help the DeMoss Family
Donation protected
Rusty DeMoss and my cousin, Adrienne Barnes were married 8 years ago after having already known each other throughout their youth for over 10 years. They built their family in small town Ringgold, Texas. Six year old Payton DeMoss was a blessing soon to follow, along with 2 year old Carson DeMoss.
The DeMoss family tragically lost Rusty on Thanksgiving Day while checking traps with Adrienne's brother, my cousin Justin, in Montana. A tree that had been destabilized by the beavers in the area fell suddenly, killing Rusty instantly.
Rusty worked on pipelines for the natural gas company Progressive Pipeline to provide for his family and help them acheive their dream of building their own home in the same area he and Adrienne grew up.
The DeMoss family is currently living in a modest trailer in Ringgold while building their home on 5 acres, less than 2 miles from their current home and where Rusty is buried.
Adrienne DeMoss is a PRN, who will now have to provide and care for her children without the help of her best friend, husband, and father of her children.
As Adrienne's cousin, myself and the rest of the family are deeply concerned about how the now single parent DeMoss family will remain in good standing with the construction loan. We are asking for your help in finishing the home for the DeMoss family. A loan had already been taken out, and the house is partially built. Regardless of any circumstances, the loan will need to be paid back and the intention is to finish the house Rusty and Adrienne have worked so hard to build for their family.
We are grateful for the strength God has provided Adrienne, who will continue to work and care for her family without Rusty. Our family is asking for your help in maintaining the monthly construction loan payments for the incomplete home. We hope to see their modest dream home completed, a wish we think Rusty would have wanted to see materialized for his family.
Every little bit helps, as the construction loan interest payments are due monthly. If those are kept in good standing and the house is completed, the loan can be refinanced. At this time, Adrienne is shouldering the burden of the loan, caring for the children, and processing the grief of her terrible loss. As her family, our gratitude is endless in finding help for her, no matter how small, in getting through these terrible times by lightening their financial load.
Please keep the DeMoss family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!
