Lucas lost his toys and books, while Meredith and Julian are left without the cherished items that made their house a home.

We, Rachel and Dana—Meredith’s friends based in NYC—are heartbroken by this tragic event. Over the years, we’ve loved watching Meredith become a proud homeowner, pouring her heart into renovating, decorating, gardening, and creating a warm, inviting space where she loved to host friends and family. Knowing how much joy she found in making her house a true home makes it even harder to see her lose it all in an instant.
