Pls Help the Disabled find Meaningful Employment
Donation protected
For people with disabilities, finding meaningful employment can be a huge challenge. The disabled community suffers far lower rates of employment and lower wages than others in the workforce. Special needs adults were disproportionately affected as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, many losing their jobs, their income, and their sense of independence and self-worth.
Our goal with this GoFundMe is to help support the construction of Sleepy Coffee, Too, a non-profit cafe/bakery founded by Kimberly Kaczmarek, a 3-decade special-ed teacher, writer, and champion for the disabled community who has always believed that the only real disability in life is a bad attitude.
Sleepy Coffee, Too is on a mission to help special needs adults by offering them industry level on-the-job training and future outplacement within the community with its support. The cafe/bakery will be a totally inclusive environment where young adults can become contributing members of society.
We need your help! Please donate whatever you can to help build Sleepy Coffee, Too cafe and by so doing create job opportunities for the disabled community. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and every contribution will help insure a better life for many who are most challenged in these difficult times.
Sleepy Coffee, Too…where kindness is served one cup at a time!
