Help the displaced people in Tripoli, Lebanon

My name is Sarah Safi Harb, I'm from Tripoli Lebanon, currently living in Amsterdam, NL. I'm fundraising to aid the displaced located in Tripoli, Lebanon.

The tragic situation in Lebanon has left over 1,4 million Lebanese people displaced. Thousands have lost their homes due to the violent bombing and many fled out of fear for their lives taking with them only the clothes on their backs. Most people are seeking refuge in the North (Tripoli). In Tripoli, most of these displaced people are seeking refuge living in schools / empty buildings. These people are missing the most basic needs (underwear, blankets, hygienic products, diapers, clothing, mattresses, medication, food)

I send the money I raise to:

1. My aunties:

Who are helping out a couple of houses filled with around 23 people each. they provide them with basic needs such as: food, money for groceries, gas burners, blankets, clothes, mattresses.

2. Chabab Fihom Kher

a group of volunteers in Tripoli Lebanon. They are so hands-on and proactive. They go from school to school to provide those in need with the most basic needs: blankets, mattresses, cleaning products, etc..

but also they organize activities for the displaced kids bringing them joy and light in these dark times.

3. Sawa Mninjah NGO :

an NGO in Tripoli that supports the displaced and those living in poverty by providing meals, groceries and other basic necessities

WHY AM I COLLECTING FUNDS FOR THEM? WHY NOT DONATE DIRECTLY TO THEM?

Due to the financial crisis in Lebanon, people have no bank accounts. Hence transfers are very complicated. It's only possible to transfer through Western Union, Wish or OMT.

So I will collect your funds here which makes your lives easier and I will distribute (transfer through western union) the funds amongst these 3 sources of crucial aid.
