Help the Do Family Rebuild After Eaton Fire
Donation protected
This page has been created by friends to support the Do family, a vital part of Altadena's DNA for decades. If you grew up in Altadena or Pasadena during the '80s and '90s, chances are you've crossed paths with the Dos. They've been a source of friendship, kindness, and support to so many.
The Do family tragically lost their homes and all their possessions in the Eaton Fire. We are raising funds to help them rebuild and navigate their next steps. While the memories, history, and cherished belongings cannot be replaced, our goal is to support this remarkable family as they get back on their feet. Every dollar donated will go directly to the Dos.
Spanning three generations, the Do family has been an integral part of the Altadena community. They're our friends, classmates, coworkers, and the ones we've shared moments with —whether playing basketball at Loma Alta Park or simply enjoying the vibrant community they helped shape.
In the fire, they lost not only their original family home, purchased in the early '80s, but also a new home where they planned to raise the third generation of their family. The Dos are some of the kindest, most genuine, artistic, and intelligent people you could meet— always the first to offer help when someone is in need. Now, it's our time to return the favor.
GoFundMe asks us to provide some background about who we are to ensure this campaign's authenticity. We are close friends and family of the Dos, many of whom have known them since childhood or even elementary school. As current or former residents of Altadena/Pasadena, we deeply care about supporting this wonderful family. Your contributions, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference in helping them through this challenging time. Together, we can support their recovery and honor the incredible legacy they’ve built within our community.
