Help the Dodgens Move and Refurnish
Jack and Anna Dodgen recently moved into the house of their dreams, only for it to turn into a nightmare. In May, they discovered that their house is infested with brown recluse spiders. After many costly attempts at extermination, the Dodgens have been left with little choice but to move. The house is simply too infested to be safe. Because the brown recluse is great at hiding, this move will involve disposing of most of their belongings in order to minimize the chance of bringing any spiders along. The Dodgens and their three young children will be forced to basically start from scratch - a new house, furniture, clothing, toys, school supplies, etc.
Jack and Anna are faithful members of the Lord's Church (Jack preaches for the Eastside Church of Christ in Midwest City, OK). This devastating loss is an opportunity to show them the love that Christians have shown each other since the beginning of the Church. "Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common... Nor was there anyone among them who lacked" (Acts 4:32, 34).
Please consider donating to help Jack and Anna recover from this blow and start fresh. Pray fervently for them during this incredibly stressful and emotional time as they begin the process of sorting their belongings and searching for a new house. Let's make this process a little easier for them by making sure that they do not lack the needed finances to transition to a safe home.
