A message from the Al falouji family:
“My name is Hosam, I'm Palestinian from Gaza. I reach out to you with a heavy heart, seeking assistance to bring me and my family from Gaza to Egypt. We are four members trapped amidst bombings and destruction, we are struggling for survival. We have lost many relatives and friends during this war. We were evacuated from the north to the south after my family's house was bombed. We are currently living in dire conditions, lacking even the basic necessities such as water, food and drugs. There is no financial aid, and we lack proper clothing. All expenses fall on us now. For 4 months, we have been trying to escape from every place that is being bombed. We became homeless, with no home and no safety. We have endured unimaginable levels of pain and destruction due to Israel's genocidal bombing and starvation campaign. Personally, I have seen my life flipped upside down—I have been displaced 4 times, had my home destroyed, lost my job, lost many of my friends and family, and struggled to access food and other essentials. Additionally, I'm now suffering from extreme hot weather conditions. I'm requesting $40,000 to cover the following costs: Funds for immediate support, including travel fees required for a safe and prompt passage through the Rafah Crossing from Gaza to Egypt, medical assistance, and other necessary aid. Funds for food, accommodation, all-around care, and other vital resources.Your donation, down to every penny, is very important to secure our ticket to escape the ravages of war.
