Help the El Verano Inn replace their tent

Actually, it's me. Linda organizing this fundraiser.

 

Attention all musicians and lovers of live music:

 

As you probably know Richard and Leslie owners of El Verano Inn have been huge supporters of live music for years! Sonoma has benefitted greatly from that support. It’s been said that the El Verano Inn is about the last place where you play rock, metal, whatever. They welcome all genres of music.

 

In addition to all that, they are also the caretakers of one of the most historic buildings in all of Sonoma Valley, built in the original old El Verano before just about any other building was there.

 

With the pandemic and all it’s challenges, Richard and Leslie bought a tent to the tune of $5,000 to set up in the parking lot to continue to have live music outside in a safe environment. What you may not know is the tent they had blew over and was destroyed in one of the most recent windstorms. This has forced them to temporarily shut down live music on the patio for weeks. In these challenging times no business owners can afford to lose business for long periods of times.

 

They did not want to reach out for help but the insurance company is being very difficult and dragging their feet so they are unable to move forward in a timely manner to reopen. Every little bit helps. Give what you can and if you can’t maybe just send them some words of encouragement. I have never known a more generous community than ours and I am grateful to be a part of it!
