Help the Ellerman family with medical bills

Hello my name is Velkis I am starting this go fund me for my husband Andy Ellerman and myself.

As of Saturday night my husband (Andy) has been in the ICU. He developed bleeding in the brain brought on by an unexpected spike in blood pressure.

Due to the recent fires on Maui, my job slowed down and I had to leave the island for work. Leaving my husband alone on Maui. On saturday during our usual morning call I noticed he wasnt himself. He said he had been throwing up all night and his speach was slurred. I thought he just had a stomach bug, but by that afternoon he said he had fallen numerous times trying to just walk around the house and was unable to move his extremeties on the left side of his body. I quickly had someone pick him up and he was taken to the ER.

While this was happening on Maui I had to quickly call the airline to see if I could change my flight to come back home. Unfortunately I bought a nonrefundable and non exchangeable ticket and it was hard and expensive to change it, but AA did help me by waiving the non-changeable policy for me. This unexpected health crisis has forced me to change my plans and come back to Maui to care for him, which has cut down on my job on the mainland. But I am happy to be there for him.

He is still in critical condition, the bleeding in his brain (aneurysm) has left him with impared motorskills and hospital bills have begun to pile up.

Upon clearance from the doctor, when ever this may be, Andy will be released and will get to come home. I will become his sole caregiver while he goes thru physical therapy to get back to his old self.

Many of you that will be seeing this may know Andy. He has the biggest heart in the world and is always there to lend a helping hand. This time I ask for anyone reading this to help us get him back.

Money raised will go toward medical bills, therapy and monthly expense since Andy was the primary bread winner for our house hold.
