Help the Ely family while Mrs Ely recovers

North Shore Christian School (MA) is a special place, with people who care deeply about one another.  This past weekend Mrs. Kathy Ely, who serves on our Beverly Campus as Kindergarten Teacher, Spanish Instructor, and Chaplain, was the victim of a stabbing at a group home in Hamilton while visiting a family member. (You may read more about the incident here WCVB News Story ). Mrs. Ely sustained extensive stab wounds, but praise be to God she is going to make a full recovery. It will be a long road ahead, but as a community we will support Mrs. Ely and her family during this traumatic time as we rally the troops.

he outpouring of love, support, and concern already from our staff and families has been overwhelming. Many have asked what the Elys need. More than anything they need our prayers.  Some have asked if they can send donations to cover upcoming expenses.  This GoFund Me page has been made for Mrs. Ely, and you may donate here, if so inclined, and send well-wishes. Notes and cards would be wonderful as well, so that Mrs. Ely has things to read while recovering.  You may drop them off at the Beverly Campus Office.
 
We will get through this together as we keep the love and support strong. God’s Word, in Romans 8:28, tells us that, “…in all things God works for the good of those who love him, and who have been called according to his purpose.”  Mrs. Ely loves Jesus with all her heart, and we claim the promise that God will use this for good and His Glory!
