Help the families of Heelands affected by the fire

This afternoon, Saturday 7th March, a fire broke out in one of the houses in Ellisgill Court, Heelands, Milton Keynes.
Thankfully everybody has managed to get out relatively unhurt, but the fire damage has extended across 3 houses in the terrace causing heartache and devastation for the families who called these houses HOME.
I have recently moved into the street and was overwhelmed by the kindness of others around here. My cat went missing and so many people rallied around to help for something that is actually such a small problem considering what has happened today.
I can’t sit and do nothing and so I thought even if together we all just donate something small, to a large pot and split the money donated between the 3 families affected and hope that it will help to rebuild their homes and lives.
I cannot imagine how everybody must feeling this evening, all their possessions, whether they be worth a lot in money or in sentiment, these are things that are now gone forever, so let’s all pull together as much as we can and help these guys.
