Help the Family of Beth (Littlefield) Greenwaldt
Donation protected
It truly breaks my heart to write this, as it somehow becomes more real, that I have lost my sister. Beth (Littlefield) Greenwaldt passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 18th. Beth was a wonderful daughter, a loving mother and a proud grandmother. She was the cornerstone of our family, if you knew her, you can imagine how she was the glue that held us all together. Beth was an active member of the American Legion Post 55 and very proud of the family she had found there. I am honored to meet them, and overwhelmed by the way they have welcomed me into their home. It has been comforting to know that Beth surrounded herself with such amazing people who truly cared for her.
Words cannot describe our pain and sadness over the loss of someone who has held such a special place in our hearts. I was fortunate enough to grow up with Beth (being her nerdy older brother), she allowed me to always be myself and even encouraged it. I remember cheesy songs coming on the radio during the 80s and Beth would immediately stand on my feet and we'd both begin to belt out the lyrics simultaneously. This sort of behavior didn't end when we grew up. As adults, I would randomly text Beth a lyric from a Debbie Gibson song (thank you, Debbie Gibson), and Beth would immediately respond with the next line of the song. Before long, we were sending each other videos lip-syncing while the song played in the background. Even on the worst of days, Beth has always had a gift for lifting the spirits of those around her.
Beth was very excited to start her new job this week, but due to this current situation, she did not have any insurance or means to cover the funeral costs or the expenses her children must now face in managing what she has left behind. As difficult as this time is, and as challenging as this is, we are asking for help to cover these expenses and to help her children with the costs incurred traveling from New England to attend to their Mother.
Please give what you can to help our family, and keep us in your thoughts. Continue to share your stories about Beth on Facebook, they have meant so much to us as we grieve. And please feel free to share this GoFundMe fundraiser on your timeline so that others can hear more about Beth and just how wonderful she was.
