Help the family of Joe Wilson

An update is long overdue! Today makes 2 years since Joe’s death & it would take a book to give even just the highlights from the journey God has taken us on these last 24 months.
I was inspired to attempt to revive this GoFundMe page for anyone wishing to help us with our latest & biggest endeavor. It seems very timely that we are launching Esperanza Farmstead so near to Joe’s anniversary. We chose this name in his honor as he had always hoped to do something like this himself. As our savings is rapidly running out, we find it expedient to work towards making our little farm profitable. These last years, we have grown more & more self sufficient and we provide a large percentage of our own food. This gives us a tremendous amount of security, however we have yet to plant the orchard that grows propane, clothing, shoes, car insurance, etc!!!
Needless to say, we still have bills to pay.
Our current plan is to begin at the Farmers Market offering goats milk soap, baked goods, preserves, freeze dried fruits & veggies, fermented veggies & any surplus of fresh veggies we may have. Future plans include obtaining a manufacturing license to be able to sell through local retail establishments & possibly certification to sell goat cheese. All of this will require a commercial kitchen at minimum & a new milking facility if we choose to sell dairy products. Naturally, there are start up costs for packaging, business cards & flyers etc. We would be grateful for any help, even just spreading the word online via liking & sharing our social media pages. You can follow us there & our website will be up & running soon as well.
We appreciate all the love & support we continuously receive!
Original post written by Tom Wilson:
It is with a shattered heart that I share with you that my oldest brother Joe Wilson passed away at the age of 48 and went to his reward on May 19th 2022 after a tragic accident falling and hitting his head. He leaves behind a wife and 9 children 8 who are under the age of 15. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth and children Josie 22, Mathew 14, Bernadette 13, Richard 12, Margaret 11, Dominic 9, Gerald 7, Patrick 5, John 2.
Many of you have been lucky enough to know Joe personally or professionally. He was among the most gentle, generous and dependable men I’ve ever known. Almost nobody I knew in my youth it was couldn't point to a time in their life where they didn't receive some generosity from him, whether it be a car he gave to them, sold to them well below what he could have made elsewhere, or fixed free of charge.
Joe spent his entire life giving and I ask you now to donate whatever your heart feels and means allow to help ease some of the suffering that his family will now experience without his steady hand, his lively brain and incredible work ethic to support them. All funds will go to the expenses and support of his wife and children.
Anything you can give would help, And if you could share this with anyone else through any social media it would be appreciated greatly.
Additionally I would love to collect stories you have of my brother to give to his children, so many of us are rich in memories of a man they will never get to know as long as we did.
