Help the family of Tyrone Anthony Harris Jr.

Tyrone Anthony Harris Jr. would have turned 39 on June 24th. He was shot and killed in West Seattle / White Center on June 11, part of the tragic daily toll of gun violence that disproportionately effects Black and brown communities and is often under reported in the media.

Tyrone's mother, Gwen (Girbe) Harris has now tragically lost three sons--the eldest in a police car chase, the second died of crib death, and now, Tyrone by gun violence.

Gwen lives in LA and flew up to Seattle to retrieve Tyrone's body. Now, Gwen needs our help to bring his children, Paradise, Justin, Tara, and baby girl to LA to be with her. She is trying to get airfare to fly everyone to LA on Monday when her son’s body will arrive.

I can’t think of a better way to help another mother on Juneteenth or Tyrone's children on Father's day, during such relentless pain for this family.
