Help the Fancher’s After The Loss of Their Mama
Donation protected
The Fancher family desperately needs our help.
In early June of 2022 Margarita Fancher, 31 years old wife and mama of 2, started feeling a severe back pain. After multiple trips to the doctors over the summer, the medical system failed her as she was advised to “just stretch”. Finally the pain was so unbearable (late August) she was rushed to the ER where they finally ran tests and found a tumor the size of a nerf football by her kidney. She was later that week diagnosed with stage 4 non-hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Shortly before her diagnosis, Margarita’s husband started at a new job and therefore has had to keep working in fear of losing their medical insurance. Their children (Sofie, 2yrs + Eli, 4yrs) have been shuffled around from family member to family member as their mom has been admitted to the hospital for days at a time for complication after complication. While her husband, Alex, of course wishes he could be by her side in the hospital at all times, he is also trying to be a constant for his children in the mornings and evenings before and after he goes to work every day. He will not receive family medical leave until March, so until then, the juggle continues as hospital bills pile up and their children lose all sense of routine and normalcy.
Margarita was most recently admitted into the ICU last night, (November 30th, 2022) after having what is believed to be a stroke after taking a nap on her first day back home from a week in hospital. She was rushed to the hospital by her husband the moment he got home from work and realized what was going on. On the way to the hospital she stopped breathing so he pulled over the car to administer life saving CPR on the side of the road until help arrived. She continues to fight for her life and is miraculously showing signs of improvement this morning while still being monitored in the ICU.
Any financial aid will help with securing consistent child care and paying off never ending medical bills as they battle through this next chapter. Please help to alleviate what we can of the unimaginable stress that Alex and Margarita’s family are facing as they try to stay strong for their children, Eli and Sofie, while Margarita fights for her life and Alex continues working to keep the medical insurance her life depends on.
Anything helps and our family is forever grateful for your prayers and support.
