Supporting the Faraca Family in Their Unimaginable Time of Need

To know the Faraca Family is to love them. On November 29th, the Faraca family suffered a devastating loss when Derek, their beloved son-in-law, passed away after a sudden and fierce battle with scleroderma, which he was diagnosed with just six months ago. Derek was a kind, loving husband, a bright source of light, and an integral part of their family. His passing has left everyone in shock and heartache.

As if this loss wasn’t unimaginable enough, Derek’s wife—Christine Faraca—is currently battling stage 4 lymphoma. She is in the midst of intense chemotherapy and radiation treatments while now trying to cope with the loss of her husband.

To make matters even more challenging, Mike Faraca, father of the family, is fighting esophageal cancer and undergoing both chemotherapy and radiation. The toll of these simultaneous battles, combined with their grief, is why I am asking for help for this family.

This beautiful family has always faced life with strength, but the emotional, physical, and financial challenges have become overwhelming. Medical bills are mounting, and the day-to-day costs of care, treatment, and recovery are creating a significant burden.
