Help the Fazio’s

Hi, everyone. We’re the Fazio’s. My husband, Ryan, and I live/lived in Rock Creek off Eaton Circle with our two kids (now, ages 6 and 8).

We were out at lunch when we heard about the evacuation of our area due to the Marshall Fire. We made it back to the house at 2:15 and by 2:38 the fire department was knocking on our door telling us we had to leave.

 

We made it out with our animals, five bags of personal items, and whatever we could shove in the car. But everything else was lost during the fire, including two cars. The next door neighbor was able to walk the couple miles back and said the entire house is in a huge pile in the basement. 

 

At this point, we begin the process of looking for a rental and restoring our lives. We are starting from scratch, so any assistance is welcome and appreciated. It’s so strange to think how much thought went into carefully planning Christmas and in one night, everything is completely gone… while I’m so thankful we got our pets and family to safety, rebuilding is going to be difficult in our current circumstances. Ryan lost most of the vision in his right eye, and I broke my foot the week before Christmas.
