Help the Fehlig Family- Cancer Stinks!

Donation protected
Hi there, my name is Kellie, and I’m a friend of the Fehlig family. Jeff (dad), Jeremy (son) Justen (son), and Jordan (son) are one of the kindest group of guys you’ll ever meet, but the Fehlig family has experienced extreme tragedy and hardship over the 2 years.

In May/June 2021, Nancy Fehlig (Jeff's wife) was diagnosed with stage 4, small cell lung cancer. Nancy entered into treatments only to pass away tragically on February 7, 2022 at the age of 52. What made this even more tragic for the family was that Jeff was hospitalized the same week that Nancy died and was himself diagnosed with Metastatic colon cancer!!

He had surgery the day after she died to remove a large portion of his colon & part of his liver. Nancy's boys had to plan and attend their mother's funeral without their father who watched the funeral via Zoom just 4 days after major surgery. How horrible that must have been for all of them!

Jeff, the owner of Fehlig Construction for the past 30 years, spent 10.5 weeks in the hospital. As soon as he got out of the hospital, he tried to pick up the pieces of his business, estimating and managing roofing jobs even though he could not drive and could barely walk. He had his mother drive him to the job sites, because the family was hurting so badly financially at this point (Spring 2022) that he had no choice.

Recently, Jeff has started chemotherapy for the 3rd time; his business has gone under and he is unable to work. Jeremy, away serving in the Army, helps when he can. Justen and Jordan, being so dedicated to their father, are working beyond full-time to try to help, but the family is over $20,000 in debt and at risk of losing their home.

I can’t imagine being SO SICK and having to WORRY SO MUCH about all the bills. Jeff should be focusing on healing and on worrying!

The family was blessed as recipients of some local fundraisers in the last year, but the bills have surpassed anything that was raised.

Please help me help them by donating and sharing their story. The family welcomes your prayers as well and any suggesting for charities that may be able to offer additional assistance.
