Let's help the Figatner Family with Baby Everett
Taryn and Josh’s family just grew by one incredible little human. Everett made his debut on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 at 7:21 am. He came in at a whopping 9.6lbs and 21.25 inches long with a 14.5inch head.

Unfortunately, Everett showed signs of rapid breathing on Tuesday morning. Doctors originally thought it was a lung issue but it turned out to be a rare genetic blood disorder and Everett, Josh, and Taryn were med-evaced to UCLA for his immediate treatment. Since then, he has had multiple seizures and faced an emergency surgery for a catheter placement. He will be on dialysis until Saturday afternoon. Everett has been a champ through this all and there is an incredible team of doctors looking after him. He is at the start of a long road to recovery as we wait for an official diagnosis but it is likely a urea cycle disorder. Currently, his toxin levels are still high but steadily declining. We will post updates on here as they come.
Let’s rally around this wonderful family right now. The Figatner family will be so grateful for any contributions as it will allow them to focus on baby Everett's healing process. Donations will be used for travel, lodging, meals, and basic necessities, as well as follow-up visits and overflow medical bills.
