Help the Fischbuchs

Our hearts go out to our dear friends, the Fischbuch family--Dennis, Kyna, Mark and Tricia and all extended family.

On Wednesday, August 11th a fire ravaged the Fischbuch family’s farm house. In the fire, they lost Dennis’ sister Kim. A funeral to honor her life will he held on Thursday, August 19th in Oyen, AB.

In the fire, the house was also completely destroyed. It will need to be cleaned up and there was very little that was able to be salvaged.

Family’s current status:

--At the moment their family does have a place to live

--the community is helping them with some things

--they do have some savings, but they are still figuring out what and how things will need to be replaced and the loss is great

--there was no insurance policy, so they are on their own to replace what is needed
