Our dear friends: Tracey, Casty, Ella & Tessa Fortich lost their home and all of their possessions on January 7, 2025 in the Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA. We met the Fortich family 20 years ago when we were all part of a Mom & Me (Mama Mia) fitness group at the Rose Bowl. Since then, we have been a tight knit community of support and love for each other. Our kids have grown up together and our families have become one.

We are devastated by the loss of their family home and have so many memories of our kids playing there together and our families gathering in joyful times. It is with heavy hearts that we ask for your support today in their efforts to rebuild their lives from scratch. They need your help now.

Casty has worked for the city of Pasadena as an Information Systems and Technology Manager for over 15 years and has taught at Pasadena City College at nights in the Community Education Center. Casty also tirelessly volunteers every year as a member of the Christmas Tree Lane Association to string lights at this beautiful Altadena landmark to bring joy to the thousands of people who flock to it. Tracey is a dedicated mother and local volunteer in the Altadena schools and with numerous charities, such as My Tribe Rise to help underserved communities. Both of their daughters have grown up going to local public schools including Odyssey Charter, Muir High School, and Elliot Arts Magnet, which incurred damage in the Eaton Fire. Their oldest daughter, Ella, is currently in her first year at UCLA and Tessa is a 7th grader at Elliot. Their sweet cat, Patchouli, and newly adopted rescue puppy, Tala, round out this family of love, spunk, and loyalty. The Fortich family are generous, caring & devoted to their beloved Altadena community. They have helped this community so much and now, in their time of need, it is our turn to help them. Please donate whatever you can so they can re-establish their lives with dignity and love.
