Help The Foundry Relocate and Rebuild

THE FOUNDRY CONCERT CLUB IS MOVING!
As you might imagine, unexpectedly having to move an entire music venue that’s been in the same space for 20+ years is quite a costly venture. That’s why we are starting a gofundme to help offset some of our moving costs, such as (but not limited to) hiring a local company to help move everything, shutting down our business for two weeks to make said move and setup in the new space, custom build-outs in the new space to create the same Foundry charm you’ve come to know and love, and any other unexpected expenses.
After many years at our Detroit Avenue location in Lakewood, our landlords have made the decision not to renew our lease. This news came as a surprise to us as the Foundry has been a staple in the neighborhood for many years.
The past two years have presented us with numerous challenges, including severe flooding in the basement, a constantly leaking roof, and capacity issues imposed by the city.
However, we are optimistic about the future.
After exploring a handful of potential properties, we are excited to announce that we will be relocating just 15 minutes away to Old Brooklyn.
Our new location at 4256 Pearl Road will retain the classic Foundry vibe and similar layout. Additionally, we are excited to offer a large yard and attached garage space, which will provide a covered event space and outdoor seating.
The Foundry will continue to operate at it’s current location through January 29, 2025. We will be closed for a two week period to move with a plan to reopen the weekend of February 14, 2025. We do not anticipate any disruption in scheduled shows.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to welcoming you to our new home.
