Help the Fowler Family Recover

My name is James Fowler, and my family has called Altadena home for over 40 years. Our lives were forever changed when the Eaton Fire devastated our neighborhood, destroying everything we held dear. My childhood home—filled with memories of my late father and sister—is gone. My grandmother’s home around the corner, also lost to the flames. The elementary school I attended and the charter school where I taught were reduced to ashes. Lifelong local businesses are gone, and so many friends and neighbors have lost their homes and livelihoods. We had little time to evacuate and couldn’t save much: irreplaceable family photos, years of art, medical records, and keepsakes from loved ones are all gone. This fire has devastated not just our family but our entire community. Any help you can give would mean the world to us as we face the immense task of recovering our lives.
